what is the cost for lumineers for your teeth?

I was wanting to know about the thin coating some dentists are putting over your teeth now to make them prettier and white.Was wondering if they charge by the tooth or if any insurance companies cover it? Where would be a good place close to me to go, i live in statesville nc. near winston salem and charlotte nc.
1,000 per tooth, can you tell me where you got your info and if there are dentists that are less?
I got some info in the mail and it starts at 300.00. I suppose all dentists don’t charge the same. Thanks anyway, but not a very good answer. Maybe I should of researched before i asked.
